What is stored and why
The box above lists what the ibplayer.store guides store in your browser. They are simple preferences kept on your device, not on our servers: the display theme you chose and the fact that you closed the banner suggesting a country version. Nothing in them identifies you, and only the website itself reads them. In this policy, “cookie” covers every technique that stores or reads information in your browser, including local storage.
The chat widget
The chat available on the ibplayer.store guides is provided by a specialist provider and loaded from its own server. So that a conversation is not lost when you move between guides, the widget may keep what it needs in your browser to restore it; exactly what, and for how long, depends on that provider. Messages you send are handled as explained in our privacy policy.
Audience measurement and consent
No audience measurement runs on the ibplayer.store guides without your consent. If a measurement tool is switched on, a banner lets you accept or refuse it just as easily, and a footer button lets you change your mind at any time. Until you accept, the measurement script is not loaded. The box above shows whether audience measurement is active today.
Managing or deleting this information
You can clear what the guides have stored at any time from your browser settings, in the privacy section, by deleting the site data for ibplayer.store. You can also block cookies and local storage for this website: the guides remain readable, only your display preferences are no longer remembered.
Links to app publishers and stores
Many guides on the ibplayer.store guides link to an app publisher’s official website or to an app store. Those websites set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. Check their settings when you visit them, especially before entering a device code or paying for a licence.
What we do not do
The guides do not use advertising cookies, do not sell browsing data and do not track you on other websites. Information from your browser is never used to build a profile of you or to show you targeted content.
Changes and questions
If we ever add a new tool, this page and the box above are updated before it goes live, and your consent is requested where needed. For any question, write to us through the contact page; the publisher’s identity is given in the legal notice.
