What this policy covers
As a rights holder or authorised representative, you can report any text, screenshot, logo or other item in the ibplayer.store guides that you believe infringes a protected work. We write our own guides and create our own illustrations, and we use app names and logos only to identify the apps described, as our disclaimer explains. If something slipped through, we want to know.
How to send a report
Use the contact page, or the email address shown in our legal notice when one is listed, and start your message with “Copyright notice”. Please include:
- your name and contact details and, if you contact the guides team on behalf of a rights holder, the name of that rights holder and your authority to act;
- a precise identification of the protected work;
- the address of the guide concerned and the exact passage, image or element;
- why you believe it infringes your rights;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you act in good faith.
How we review it
We acknowledge your report and review it. If details are missing, we ask for them first. Where the infringement appears established, we remove or replace the element in the ibplayer.store guides as quickly as we reasonably can and let you know; where we cannot act, we explain why. We do not remove content automatically on request, so that legitimate content is not taken down because of a mistaken claim. Anyone affected by a removal can explain through the contact page why they disagree, and we review the matter again.
Where our material comes from
The text of the guides is written for ibplayer.store, and the illustrations on the website are created for it rather than taken from app publishers. App names and logos are used only to identify the app a guide is about, never to suggest a partnership. When a guide refers to a publisher’s official instructions, it links to the original source rather than copying it, so you can always check the publisher’s own version.
Good faith and your data
Reports must be made in good faith; knowingly false or abusive reports may be disregarded and can make their author liable. Information in a report is used only to handle it and keep a record, and may be shared with the person affected as far as needed for them to respond. Our privacy policy explains your rights over this data.
