IPTV 1 month vs 12 months: the short answer
Short plans exist mostly to reduce the risk of a bad purchase. That is a fair concern, but a one-month plan is not the only way to reduce it, and it is often the most expensive one. We chose to sell only 12-month plans and to put the effort into answering your questions before you pay.
Our three plans, Standard, Premium and VIP, each run for a year, with a single payment and no automatic renewal. The current totals are shown in the price table on our IPTV subscription page. The rest of this article explains the reasoning, and how to decide without guessing.
What an IPTV 1 month plan really gives you
An iptv 1 month plan, wherever you find one, offers flexibility: you can stop after four weeks if something does not suit you. People look for it when:
- they are trying IPTV for the first time and want to see how it behaves on their connection;
- they are in Canada for a short stay, for work, studies or a family visit;
- they mainly watch during one season, such as the hockey playoffs in spring.
The trade-off is cost and hassle. A monthly plan usually carries the highest price per month, and renewing it every few weeks means more payments, more reminders and more chances to lose access in the middle of a game.
IPTV 3 months and IPTV 6 months: the middle ground elsewhere
Some sellers offer iptv 3 months or iptv 6 months plans as a compromise: lower monthly cost than a single month, without a full year. They can suit a student whose term lasts a few months or a snowbird who spends part of the winter in the south.
We do not sell these durations. If your situation is temporary, tell us in the chat. We will be frank about whether a 12-month plan makes sense for you, rather than sell you something you will only half use.
Why we only sell an IPTV subscription 12 months long
An iptv subscription 12 months plan has practical advantages for both sides:
- One price, one decision. Three plans, one length. The table is easy to read and nothing changes at checkout.
- Less administration. You order once and do not think about renewing for a year.
- A stable relationship. We look after a steady group of customers through the whole year, with support in the chat 7 days a week, instead of constant short renewals.
- Included extras that last. Premium and VIP include IBO Player activation for one year, matching the length of the plan.
The risk with any yearly plan is committing too early. Never pay for a year with a seller you have not talked to. Our page on the 12-month IPTV subscription covers the format in more detail.
Side-by-side comparison
| Short plan elsewhere (1, 3 or 6 months) | Our 12-month plans | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per month | Usually higher, especially at 1 month | Yearly total divided by twelve |
| Commitment | Lower amount at stake | One payment for the year |
| Renewals | Frequent | Once a year, manually |
| How to reduce risk | Stop after a short period | Ask in the chat before paying; test on request |
| Best for | Very short stays | Households that watch through the year |
To compare totals yourself, multiply any monthly price by twelve and set it next to a yearly total. Our article on IPTV subscription price explains what else to take into account, such as app activation and currency conversion: our prices are in euros, and your bank or PayPal handles the conversion.
Choosing between Standard, Premium and VIP
Since the length is fixed, the real decision is the level:
- Standard: HD, for a 1080p TV, a bedroom set or a cellphone.
- Premium: HD and 4K, adult categories, and IBO Player activation for one year. The usual choice for a 4K living-room TV.
- VIP: HD, 4K and 8K, with the same extras. Only useful with an 8K-capable screen and a strong connection.
Each subscription covers one device at a time. If two TVs need to play at the same moment, plan two subscriptions.
What happens at the end of the year
With us, the end of a plan is simple. Access stops after 12 months, and nothing is charged automatically. If you want to continue, you write to us in the chat, choose a plan (the same or a different one) and pay by bank transfer or PayPal.
A good habit is to note the end date when you receive your Xtream Codes login and M3U link, so you are not caught by surprise in the middle of a game. If you keep the same player app and device, nothing needs reinstalling: your renewed access works the same way as before.
A simple decision path
- Never used IPTV, or never used us? Ask about a test in the chat and describe your setup. Our guide on how to test an IPTV free trial tells you what to check.
- Only in Canada for a few weeks? Say so in the chat; we will tell you honestly whether a year makes sense.
- Settled, watching most evenings, setup confirmed? Pick the plan that matches your screen and order.
Whatever you choose, the delivery is the same: credentials in the chat after payment, and help 7 days a week for the whole year.
